I tested it recently on my sister’s laptop, it launches word faster than notepad
Like how on earth did that happen
(Me watching the madness unfold from my cozy Linux box)
I love watching windows and reddit disintegrate from the sidelines.
Doesn’t malware at least work?
Good malware does.
Most malware is badly written, thankfully. It still does work of course but it isn’t as effective as it could be.
- Surveils you
- Reports activity
- Serves ads in the react start menu
- Runs out of memory
- Crashes
I am just waiting until for when they report about the image viewer in windows scanning all your photos for illegal content. That one is gonna be fun.
I don’t think they are scanning your shit…yetReal :3
Is it malware if it doesn’t work?
Mal = bad … So, yes?
If windows hangs on searching pasta recipes, you install Linux instead.
It sucks that new PCs supporting Windows have an ugly Copilot key that you can’t disable or remap, it’s essentially a wasted key. I think its response is hardcoded in the controller so it’s very difficult to repurpose (Have not bought one of those awful PCs yet I will use the ones I have until its too slow or breaks).
Meh, I got a new work laptop in December. It’s “running” Windows 11 and has the copilot key - TBH having one useless key is the least of my worries.
