We were calling them out for JUST changing their pfp with no actual changes. Instead of making those actual changes they just stopped updating their pfps.
Corporations aren’t people, they deserve no respect.
Because a rainbow profile picture doesn’t change anything. It was a way to drum up sales while it was politically convenient, or at least not inconvenient, to give the appearance of allyship.
If those companies really gave a shit, they’d do more.

There’s an anarchist worker-coop cafe and bookstore in my city, you will never see them get called out for the pandering rainbow pfp bullshit because they have active LGBTQIA+ community support year-round.
