another girl on premises saw us holding this frayed belt like this and came up to us and with a smile went “punish me mommy”. we are quite friendly with her and this is usual banter so dw hehe
(also, the original title was “one girls trash is another girls pleasure”, elected not to go with it for reasons though)

Not in a good way … in a “the rubber is old and breaking down” way :-/
oh it isn’t even a year old, it just got previously cut up a bit from uh… events. and then we put it back on as is. and then it came apart even further. lol
it was being used as a drive belt for a wheeled vehicle, and funnily enough due to our seating position when it did tear, it whipped us directly on the back hehe
wonder if that continues if u put it in a laundry bag in the washing machine
Crumbles into little bits of black rubber, maybe breaks the washing machine’s pump filter.
These sorts of belt aren’t made to come into contact with anything but metal, even when new they can leave black marks on things sometimes :-/
